It is true that there have been some valid critiques from the right against the excesses of (usually leftist) post-modernist relativism claiming that all views are equally valid and, more importantly, TRUE AND FACTUAL. In this, those on the right have implicitly and often explicitly argued that some views are better than others because they conform to reality in a more accurate way.
I support this view.
However, what I find entirely funny is that when liberals go around pointing out that a number of arguments put forth by certain conservatives are actually–based on things like facts and data–WRONG and have no basis in reality–then these conservatives seem to get all bent out of shape about the liberals showing that the liberal’s views are better than the others–and they call the liberals Elitists.
How very post-modern and/or hypocritical of them.
